It's hard to believe it's been almost half a year since I last blogged, time flies by too fast! I have been browsing and shopping online for clothes, but haven't really found anything worth bookmarking. Almost all of my recent clothing purchases come from Uniqlo. I've become even more budget-conscious, and my wardrobe is sort of maturing I guess, so I'm more into basics now. Asos hasn't had much that caught my eye either (too clingy, too short, not cotton, etc.), and if there's something I like, it's usually too pricey for me to justify the purchase. Qoo10 has a few sellers selling cotton dresses, but the reviews these sellers receive are mostly negative since most of these clothes are made in China. The items rarely come as pictured, and frankly, as cheap as they might be, I'm not keen on taking the risk.
I'm happy though, to have found a seller on Qoo10 selling self-manufactured printed cotton dresses: Charmed on 9th Ave. Majority of them are sleeveless, which is a shame as I wish there were more sleeved pieces, but welp, can't complain! Here are some of the pieces I've my eye on:

I'm so happy right now! This has been the best weekend I've had in a long time. I was actually reluctant to go out to watch The Maze Runner today; it turned out to be a great show, and I'm looking forward to seeing the second and third! We went to Vivocity to watch it, and there was an Ecco pop-up sale going on. My friend pointed it out and I was like meh, Ecco has ugly shoes. We had lots of time before the movie started and I figured there was no harm in looking. I'm so glad I did because I got a pair of shoes (pictured above) that I can wear to more formal occasions (job interviews, dinners, etc.)!
Although it was pretty pricey at $160, it was 33% off and real leather, so I don't feel so guilty. I was honestly tempted to go to their outlet store at IMM to see if I can get it cheaper, but I changed my mind since I've been looking for a pair of smoking-slipper-reminiscent footwear, and this is it! I really didn't want to risk losing them. It was the last pair in this color and size, and although it's a little tight now, it's very comfy! They also come in a nice burgundy-brown color that first caught my eye, but I decided black would be a better choice as it's easier to match, plus as my friend put it, it looks more "professional". Men lol.

I saw these Nike Dunk Sky His on Asos about a month back when it was still in stock and on sale; I hesitated though cuz I wasn't sure if it'd fit me, and if it'd be too narrow or uncomfy for my feet. I saw a beige pair at the Nike factory outlet store in West Coast Plaza, but unfortunately they didn't have my size so I couldn't try them on.. I hope I'll see a pair in my size soon! I really need a pair of sneakers.
*Edit: I managed to try on a pair at Limited Edition Vault. It was their biggest size yet I couldn't squeeze my feet into them because they were just too narrow for me. Oh well.

Whenever I'm in a shoe shop there a few types of shoes that I look out for like boots, loafers, and sneakers, but clogs are always the first to catch my attention in a shoe shop. I follow Indonesian fashion blogger Diana Rikasari on Instagram, and recently she posted a pic of herself wearing the black version of these clogs, which I liked. This particular design is so much prettier though, plus it's so unique! Have I mentioned that I love ethnic prints too?
What's even better is that they offer wide sizing! I'm starting to think that maybe I should start buying footwear online..
